    [a] Horizontal range \[=\frac{{{u}^{2}}\sin \,2\theta }{g}\] so g \[\propto \] \[{{u}^{2}}\] or  \[\frac{{{g}_{planet}}}{{{g}_{earth}}}=\frac{{{({{u}_{planet}})}^{2}}}{{{({{u}_{earth}})}^{2}}}\] Therefore \[{{g}_{planet}}={{\left( \frac{3}{5} \right)}^{2}}(9.8\,\,m/{{s}^{2}})\] \[=3.5\,m/{{s}^{2}}\]
