    Solution :

    As, kinetic energy of body is \[K=\,\,\frac{1}{2}m{{v}^{2}}\] \[v=\sqrt{\frac{2K}{m}}\] At highest point vertical component is zero and vertical component is non-zero. \[{{v}_{x}}=v\,\cos \,\,45{}^\circ =\sqrt{\frac{2K}{m}}\times \frac{1}{\sqrt{2}}=\sqrt{\frac{K}{m}}\] Now, kinetic energy at highest point is \[=\,\frac{1}{2}mv_{x}^{2}=\frac{1}{2}m\left( \frac{K}{m} \right)=\frac{K}{2}\]
