    If \[{{t}_{1}}\] is time taken by stone to reach at level of water then, \[H=0+\frac{1}{2}gt_{1}^{2}\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\,\left[ as,\,\,s=ut+\frac{1}{2}a{{t}^{2}} \right]\] \[{{t}_{1}}=\sqrt{\frac{2\,H}{g}}\] Now, time taken by sound to reach at top \[{{t}_{2}}=\frac{H}{v}\] \[\therefore \] Total time \[=\,\,{{t}_{1}}+{{t}_{2}}=\sqrt{\frac{2H}{g}}+\frac{H}{v}\]
