    Solution :

    Number of children \[=2x,\]\[3x\]and \[5x,\] then \[(2x+10):(3x+10):(5x+10)\] = 4 : 5 : 7 \[\therefore \]\[5\,\,(2x+10)=4\,\,(3x+10)\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[x=5\] Hence, total number of children before increase \[=10x=10\times 5=50\]
