              A building contractor under took to build a cooperative society flats in 100 days. He employed 110 men. After 45 days, he found that only \[\frac{1}{4}\text{th}\] of the flats could be built. In order to complete the work in time, how many more men should be employed?          

    A)  270

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

    Whole work will be done in 45 days by = 440 men \[\frac{3}{4}\text{th}\] of work in 45 days = 330 men \[\frac{3}{4}\text{th}\]of work in \[100-45=55\]days by\[\frac{330\times 45}{55}\] = 270 men Men should be employed \[=270-110=160\]
