    Solution :

    Whole work will be done in 45 days by = 440 men \[\frac{3}{4}\text{th}\] of work in 45 days = 330 men \[\frac{3}{4}\text{th}\]of work in \[100-45=55\]days by\[\frac{330\times 45}{55}\] = 270 men Men should be employed \[=270-110=160\]
