    Correct Answer: D

    Solution :

    Work done by A and B in 3 min. \[=3\,\,(27\div 12\times 15)=\frac{9}{20}\] for doing \[\frac{1}{15}\text{th}\]work B takes 1 min for doing \[\frac{11}{20}\text{th}\] work B takes\[=\frac{11}{20}\times \frac{15}{1}=8\frac{1}{4}\,\,\min .\]
