    Volume of bar = Volume of piece of copper \[=1\,\,\,{{m}^{3}}\] length of bar = 36 m                      \[\therefore \]Area of square cross-section of bar \[=\frac{\text{Volume}}{\text{Length}}=\frac{1}{36}\,\,{{m}^{2}}\] \[\therefore \] Side of square cross-section \[=\sqrt{\frac{1}{36}}=\frac{1}{6}\,\,m\] Volume of exact cube which is cut off from bar       \[={{\left( \frac{1}{6} \right)}^{3}}=\frac{1}{6}\times \frac{1}{6}\times \frac{1}{6}=\frac{1}{216}{{m}^{3}}\] Cost of cube = Rs.\[\frac{1}{216}\times 108\]= Rs.\[\frac{1}{2}=50\]paise
