    Solution :

    Let \[{{v}_{1}}\]be the velocity of fast train and Vg be the velocity of slower train. \[\therefore \]      \[\frac{110+130}{{{v}_{1}}-{{v}_{2}}}=60\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{v}_{1}}-{{v}_{2}}=4\]                               ?(i) Again,\[\frac{110+130}{{{v}_{1}}+{{v}_{2}}}=3\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[{{v}_{1}}+{{v}_{2}}=80\] On adding Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get \[2{{v}_{1}}=84\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[{{v}_{1}}=42\,\,m/s\] and put the value of\[{{v}_{1}}\] in Eq. (ii), we get \[{{v}_{2}}=38\,\,m/s.\]
