    Solution :

    Average speed \[\text{=}\frac{\text{Total}\,\,\text{distance}}{\text{Total}\,\,\text{time}}\] \[=\frac{50\times 1+32\times \frac{1}{2}}{1+\frac{1}{2}}=\frac{50+16}{3/2}=\frac{66\times 2}{3}=44\,\,km/h\]
