    Solution :

    Let fraction be\[\frac{x}{y},\] New fraction \[\frac{120%x}{90%y}=\frac{4x}{3y}\](by given condition) So, \[\frac{4x}{3y}=\frac{16}{27}\] \[\therefore \]\[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{16}{27}\times \frac{3}{4}=\frac{4}{9}\]
