    A)  102, 136 and 170

    B)  100, 128 and 150

    C)  101, 135 and 169

    D)  None of these

    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    Let number of Rs. 1, 50 paise and 10 paise coins be 3x, 4x and 5x, respectively. Then, Rs. 3x + Rs.\[4x\times \frac{50}{100}+\]Rs. \[5x\times \frac{10}{100}=\]Rs. 187 (by given condition) \[\Rightarrow \]   \[3x+4x\times \frac{1}{2}+5x\times \frac{1}{10}=187\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{6x+4x+x}{2}=187\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[\frac{11}{2}x=187\] \[\therefore \]Number of Rs. 1 coins are \[3\times 34=102\] Number of 50 paise coins are \[4\times 34=136\] Number of 10 paise coins are \[5\times 34=170\]
