    Solution :

    Suppose B puts in x cows, Ratio of A's and B's rent \[=1:1+\frac{1}{2}=2:3\] Then,    \[\frac{100\times 8}{x\times 2}=\frac{2}{3}\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[x=\frac{100\times 8\times 3}{2\times 2}=600\]cows
