    Solution :

    Let the sum lent to C be 7 x. According to the question, \[\frac{2500\times 7\times 4}{100}+\frac{x\times 7\times 4}{100}=1220\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2500\times 28+28x=112000\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2500+x=4000\] \[\therefore \]      \[x=4000-2500=1500\]
