    Solution :

    Let the fractions be x and y, where x > y. \[\therefore \]      \[xy=\frac{14}{15}\]and \[\frac{x}{y}=\frac{35}{24}\] \[\therefore \]      \[xy\times \frac{x}{y}=\frac{14}{15}\times \frac{35}{24}\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[{{x}^{2}}=\frac{49}{36}\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[x=\frac{7}{6}\]
