    We know that, The area of circle\[=\pi {{r}^{2}}=\frac{\pi {{D}^{2}}}{4}\][Where, D = Diameter of circle] and circumference of circle \[=2{{\pi }^{2}}r=\pi D\] Now, according to question \[=\frac{\pi {{D}^{2}}}{4}=\pi D\]  \[{{D}^{2}}=4D\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[{{D}^{2}}-4D=0\]\[\Rightarrow \]\[D\,\,(D-4)=0\] \[\therefore \]      \[D=4\]
