Then, \[A+B=22\]and \[{{A}^{2}}+{{B}^{2}}=404\] we know that, \[{{(A+B)}^{2}}={{A}^{2}}+{{B}^{2}}+2AB\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[{{(22)}^{2}}=404+2AB\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[484=404+2AB\] \[\Rightarrow \]   \[2\,\,AB=80\] \[AB=40\] The product of the two numbers = 40
