    Solution :

    \[\underset{Initial\,0.5\,mol}{\mathop{{{H}_{2}}}}\,\underset{\,0.5\,mol}{\mathop{S{{O}_{2}}}}\,\]after a period of time H2 being lighter, effuse faster and hence, in larger amount. So, remaining hydrogen must be lesser.
