    Solution :

    Volume of cylindrical wire \[V=\frac{\pi {{x}^{2}}L}{4}\]  ?(i) where, x is the diameter of wire Taking log and then applying differential operator in both side of equation (i) we get \[\frac{\Delta V}{V}\,=\frac{2\Delta r}{r}+\frac{\Delta l}{l}\] \[=2\left( -0.5\,\frac{\Delta l}{l} \right)\,+\frac{\Delta l}{l}\] \[\because \,\,-\frac{\Delta r}{r}\,=0\frac{\Delta l}{l}=0\] Hence percentage change in volume = 0
