     Material of the core in galvanometer, transformer etc., should possess following properties: (i) On application of small H, I changes by a large amount. (ii) On changing direction of H, demagnetization of the material must decrease at a faster rate. (iii) Area of \[I-H\]curve should be as small as possible to ensure minimum hysteresis loss.
