Direction: In these questions a relationship between different elements is shown in the statements. Find the true conclusion from the given two conclusions and then give your answer
    Statements: \[B\le D=F\le I;I\le N=M\] Conclusions: \[\text{I}\text{.M=B}\]                   \[\text{II}\text{.BM}\]

    A)  if only conclusion I is true.

    B)  if only conclusion II is true.

    C)  if either conclusion III or II is true.

    D)  if neither conclusion I nor II is true.

    E)  if both conclusions I and II are true.

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

     Given statements: \[\text{B}\le \text{D=F}\le \text{I }\!\!~\!\!\text{  }\!\!~\!\!\text{  }\!\!~\!\!\text{  }\!\!~\!\!\text{ }...\text{(i)}\] \[\text{I}\le \text{N=M}...\text{(ii)}\] Combining (i) and (ii), we get \[\text{B}\le \text{D=F}\le \text{I}\le \text{N=M }\!\!~\!\!\text{  }\!\!~\!\!\text{  }\!\!~\!\!\text{  }\!\!~\!\!\text{ }...\text{ (iii)}\] Check for conclusion I. From (iii), \[\text{B}\le \text{M}\] or \[\text{M}\ge \text{B}\] is true. But M=B is not true. Check for conclusion II. From (iii), \[\text{BM}\] is not true. But both conclusions make a complementary pair for\[\text{B}\le \text{M}\]. Hence either conclusion I or conclusion II is true.
