    B)    Rs. 5465 lakh

    C)  Rs. 5832 lakh

    D)    Rs. 5654 lakh

    E)  Rs. 5476 lakh

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

    Brand Electronic items Washing machines
    LG 384000 81000
    Philips 288000 45000
    Samsung 456000 108000
    Sony 360000 72000
    Godrej 480000 90000
    Videocon 432000 54000
    Total 2400000 450000
Total washing machines sold by LG \[=81000\times \frac{60}{100}=48600\] Let cost price be 2x and marked price be 3x. Selling price \[=3x\times \frac{80}{100}=2.4\,x\] Profit \[=2.4\,x-2x=2000\] \[\therefore \]\[x=5000\] Selling price of a washing machine \[=2.4\times 5000=12000\] Total selling price\[=12000\times 48600\] = Rs. 5832 lakh
