    Solution :

    Distance covered by train \[{{T}_{4}}\] and \[{{T}_{7}}\] are 900 km and 1200 km respectively. Let the speed of trains \[{{T}_{4}}\] and \[{{T}_{4}}\] be 6x and 7x respectively. Then the ratio of time taken by \[{{T}_{4}}\] to that by T, \[=\frac{900}{6x}:\frac{1200}{7x}=63:72=7:8\]
