[c] The National Optic Fibre Network (NOFN) Project is being overseen by a new entity called Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) and is being executed by BSNL and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). This project will prove to be beneficial not only for villagers but from this, persons involved in testing, civil work, logistics, local vendors, antenna- suppliers, technicians will also feel benefitted and will be able to satisfy their basic needs. (ii) This project adds following values to the society: [a] Raising of standards of living and development of society. [b] Employment opportunities and economic development in rural areas.
