    Answer:

    Menstrual cycle is a period of cyclic changes that occur in the reproductive tract of human females and other primates with a periodicity of 28 days. Menstrual cycle is controlled by FSH, LH, estrogen and progesterone hormone.
    The onset of menstruation in the human female is known as the menarche. The age at which this occurs is variable. It may be around twelve or thirteen years of age. In rare cases, even a ten-year old may have menarche. The climatic condition and physical state of the individual have a role in this process. It is usually between 11 and 16 years.
