Is migration a healthy sign of development? What can we do to stop this?

    Answer:

Migration is not a healthy sign of development. Migration puts heavy pressure on the civic amenities in the towns and cities. Moreover, migrants generally settle in the poor areas of the city streets that usually lack basic infrastructure facilities and over time these areas develop into slums. We can stop migration by creating adequate employment opportunities for the rural people in rural areas.
