    How are the Himadri Himalayas different from the Himachal Himalayas?

    Answer:

    Himadri range of Himalayas is the innermost range. It has lofty peaks, with an average height of 6,000 metres. It contains important peaks like K2, Nanga Parbat, Nanda Devi, Kanchenjunga, Namcha Bacwa, Mount Everest (in Nepal/Tibet). This range is always snow bound. Siachin and Baltoro are some of the glaciers in this range. Himachal Himalayas are in the middle range. The height is from 3,700 to 4,500 metres. Pir Panjal and the Dhaula Dhar ranges are the most important ranges in Jammu & Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh. The important hill stations such as Simla, Nainital, Mussoorie, Darjeeling belong to this range. This range is also known for beautiful valleys, e.g., Kulu. Kangna, Jammu & Kashmir and Doon.
