    Let rational no. be \[x\] Seat in Math\[=5x\] Seat in Physics\[=7x,\] Seat in Chemistry\[=8x,\] 40% of \[5x=40\times \frac{1}{100}\times 5x=2x\] \[\therefore \]maths\[=7x\] 50% of \[7x=50\times \frac{1}{100}\times 7x=\frac{7x}{2}\]\[\therefore \]physics \[=14x\] \[a:b:c=7x:\frac{21x}{2}:14x=2:3:4\]
