People of a village take good care of plants, trees and animals. They marked some \[l\] and for their pets (cow and ox) and plants. Find the ratio of the areas kept for animals and plants to the total area of the village.

    A)  \[75:21\]

    B)  \[125:39\]

    C)                     \[29:150\]

    D)         \[29:121\]

    Correct Answer: C

    Solution :

            Area kept for animals \[=\left[ (6\times 3)+\left( \frac{22}{7}\times \frac{7}{2}\times \frac{7}{2} \right) \right]{{m}^{2}}\] \[=(18+38.5){{m}^{2}}=56.5{{m}^{2}}\] Area kept for plants \[=(8\times 2){{m}^{2}}=16{{m}^{2}}\] So, total area kept for plants and animals        \[=(56.5+16){{m}^{2}}=72.5{{m}^{2}}\] Area of land \[=(25\times 15){{m}^{2}}=375{{m}^{2}}\] So, required ratio\[=72.5:375=29:150\]
