    Justice Ranade and others organised the Poona Sarvajanik Sabha in the 1870, Madras Mahajan Sabha was started in 1881 and the Bombay Presidency Association in 1885.1n 1866, Dada bhai Naoroji organized the East India Association in London .In 1884 Anand Charlu joined several public workers in Madras and founded the Madras Mahajana Sabha which became the leading public forum for years. WC Bonerjee helped in the establishment of the London Indian Society which was later amalgamated with the East India Association.
