    In the given figure, if \[CE||BA,\]then the value of \[\angle ACB\]is

    A) \[{{60}^{o}}\]

    B)  \[{{55}^{o}}\]

    C) \[{{70}^{o}}\]

    D)        \[{{90}^{o}}\]

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

    Since,\[CE||BA\]and C is transversal. \[\therefore \]\[\angle ACE=\angle BAC={{60}^{o}}\] (alternate interior angles)             \[\angle ACD=\angle ACE+\angle ECD={{60}^{o}}+{{65}^{o}}={{125}^{o}}\] Now, \[\angle ACB={{180}^{o}}-\angle ACD={{180}^{o}}-{{125}^{o}}={{55}^{o}}\]
