Answer:

(a) In the calendar the painter depicted lord Vishnu bringing 'Sunlight Soap' down to earth flying on his vahana 'Garuda'. He is accompanied by Goddess Lakshami his consort.

(b) If I am a buyer in early 20th century I will be attracted to the advertisement because anything related to religion used to attract people at that time. But whether I would buy the product would depend on my need and liking. But I might ' buy it as a calendar.

(c) Present day manufacturers have different consideration in mind Lot of researches go behind advertisements and there are various organisations who are specially skilled for this. For example products of sports goods are usually advertised with pictures or activities of eminent sports persons similarly fashion goods are associated with film celebrities or other fashionable personalities. Religion does not have much place now in advertisements Modern advertisements have more rational and logical basis.
