                Displacement = Summation of all the area with sign             \[=({{A}_{1}})+(-{{A}_{2}})+({{A}_{3}})\]\[=(2\times 4)+(-2\times 2)+(2\times 2)\]           \[\therefore \] Displacement = 8 m             Distance =Summation of all the areas without sign             \[=|{{A}_{1}}|+\,|-{{A}_{2}}|+|{{A}_{3}}|\ =|8|+\,|-4|+|4|\]=\[8+4+4\]             \[\therefore \]  Distance = 16 m.
