Yes, it is possible, and I can easily find it out. As I used the spring balance. I found the same difference in the reading. The difference in the reading makes it clear that the room has been shifted to some other planet. It is possible in the case of spring balance, where as, in the case of the common balance it is not possible, as a common balance doesn?t show any reading but just balances weights.
