    Answer:

                      The three elements responsible for population growth are increasing birth rate, declining death rate and increased migration into the country from outside. (i) Birth rates are affected by factors like nutrition, fertility, social value, the availability of contraception and culture. (ii) Death rates are affected by disease, war, improved healthcare and nutrition. (iii) Migration into the country is affected by characteristics of a country that attracts people to it push and pull factors.
