                  (i) Factors responsible/or losses during storage are (a) Biotic factors such as insects, rodents, birds, mites and bacteria. (b) Abiotic factors such as moisture content, temperature, humidity. Preventive measures for storage of food grains are (i) Drying (ii) Maintenance of hygiene (iii) Fumigation of chemicals            (iv) Improved storage structure          (ii) Animal Husbandry It is a science of rearing, feeding, caring, breeding, and utilisation of animals. Advantage of Animal Husbandry (a) It is beneficial for farmers as increased yield brings more income to the farmer and raises his living standard. (b) It helps us to undertake proper management of domestic animals.
