    (i) Is this an accurate picture of what happens to the voter before and after elections?   (ii) Must this always happen in a democracy?   (iii) Can you think of examples when this did not happen?

    Answer:

    (i) Yes, this is an accurate picture of what happens to the voter before and after election.   (ii) No, not always, but most of the time it happens in a democracy. Before election, the candidate tries to appease the voters by false promises. After the election, the elected leader forgets the demands of the common man.   (iii) No, I cannot think of examples when this did not happen.
