    (i) Wet clothes take longer time to dry on a humid day?   (ii)Amount of insolation decreases from equator towards poles?

    Answer:

Wet clothes take longer time to dry on a humid day because the air has a lot of water vapour and so it can't accomodate the water vapour created by the wet clothes. So, the water remains, in the clothes for a longer time. It is because the solar radiation received gradually decreases as we move from equator towards poles. So solar energy i.e. insolation also decreases.
