10th Class Science How do Organisms Reproduce?

  • question_answer 52)
Can you consider cell division as a type of reproduction in unicellular organism? Give one reason.

    Answer:

Many different patterns of fission have been observed. Many bacteria and Protozoa simply split into two equal halves during cell division. Each half develops into new individual that can lead an independent life. Thus, cell division can be considered as a type of reproduction in unicellular organism such as Amoeba.
