  • question_answer 11)
You have two solutions, A and B. The pH of solution A is 6 and pH of solution B is 8. Which solution has more hydrogen ion concentration ? Which of this is acidic and which one is basic?

    Answer:

pH of solution A = 6.                                        ion concentration pH of solution B = 8.                                         ion concentration                     As  hence solution A has more H+ ion concentration. A solution with pH < 7 is acidic. Hence, solution A is acidic.                           A solution with pH > 7 is basic. Hence, solution B is basic.
