    Solution :

     \[\frac{x}{6}-\frac{7}{2}\times \frac{3}{7}=-\frac{7}{4}\] \[\Rightarrow \frac{x}{6}-\frac{3}{2}=-\frac{7}{4}\] \[\Rightarrow \frac{x}{6}=\frac{3}{2}-\frac{7}{4}=\frac{6-7}{4}\] \[\Rightarrow \frac{x}{6}=-\frac{1}{4}\Rightarrow x=-\frac{6}{4}\] \[=-\frac{3}{2}=-1.5\]
