    Solution :

     \[5x+2>3x+1\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[5x-3x>1-2\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[2x>-1\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[x>-\frac{1}{2}\] Again, \[4x-16-2\le 3x-1\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[4x-18\le 3x-1\] \[\Rightarrow \]\[4x-3x\le 18-1\] \[\Rightarrow \] \[x\le 17\] \[\therefore \]\[-\frac{1}{2}<x\le 17\]
