Brain fever is a disease spread through which of the following?

    A)  Flies

    B)  Mosquito

    C)  Virus

    D)  Cockroach

    Correct Answer: B

    Solution :

Encephalitis, one form of brain fever, is caused by any one of a number of viruses. In Asia, it is caused by the Japanese B Encephalitis virus that is found in the blood stream of pigs and the infection is spread from pigs to man by mosquitoes. Outbreaks of the virus tend to occur in poor, flood-hit areas, where monsoons leave pools of stagnant water, allowing mosquitoes to breed and infect.
