Roads can be made where sharp turning bends are required. (iv) Road transport is economical in transportation for few persons and relatively small amount of goods over shorter distances as compared to Railways. (v) It also provides door to door service, thus the cost of additional loading and unloading is avoided. (vi) Road transport is also used as a feeder to other modes of transport such as, they provide a link between railway stations, airports and seaports.
