Exp. [b] Constitutional government have provisions like Fundamental Rights to protect individual liberty and protect individual from any arbitrary state actions because the Constitution grants power in the name of the people and the state draws its power from the consent of the governed. The Constitution said that states will use his powers in the interests of the people. Constitution permits reasonable restriction to be imposed on individual's liberties in the interest of society not the interest of state authority.
