    Correct Answer: A

    Solution :

    Suppose their prices are 3x, 5x and 7x. Then,    \[\frac{3x+5x+7x}{3}=15000\] \[5x=15000\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[x=3000\] Hence, the price of the cheapest item \[=3\times 3000\] \[=Rs.\,\,9000\]
