    Solution :

    Suppose prices of a scooter and a T.V. is 7x and 5x respectively. Then,    \[7x-5x=8000\] \[2x=8000\] \[x=4000\] Now, the price of a T.V. set  \[=5\times 4000\] \[=Rs.20,000\]
