    Solution :

    Let the aggregate marks =x. Then. \[\frac{(280-264)}{x}\times 100=2\]                           \[x=\frac{16\times 100}{2}\]                            \[x=800\] Now, the minimum passing percentage of the examination    \[=\frac{280}{800}\times 100%\]                          \[=35%\]
