    Solution :

    Work done by A and B together it 1 day \[=\frac{2}{6}-\left( \frac{1}{12}+\frac{1}{8} \right)\] \[=\frac{1}{3}-\frac{5}{24}\] \[=\frac{8-5}{24}=\frac{3}{24}=\frac{1}{8}\] Hence, A and B together can complete it in 8 days.
