    Solution :

    Let ages of A and B are \[3x\] and \[5x\] respectively. Then, after 6 years \[\frac{3x+6}{5x+6}=\frac{2}{3}\] \[9x+18=10x+12\] \[x=6\] Hence, the age of \[A=3x=3\times 6\] = 18 years
