    Solution :

    From the relation,                 \[\tan \theta =\frac{{{X}_{L}}-{{X}_{C}}}{R}\] where \[{{X}_{L}}-{{X}_{C}}\] is the net impedance of the circuit. \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\theta ={{\tan }^{-1}}\frac{{{X}_{L}}-{{X}_{C}}}{R}\]                 \[{{X}_{C}}=0\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\theta ={{\tan }^{-1}}\frac{\sqrt{3}R}{R}\] \[\Rightarrow \]               \[\theta ={{\tan }^{-1}}\sqrt{3}={{60}^{o}}\]
